so i had my second round allstate interview. it was GRUESOME. i was DRILLED for two and some hours, and it was one of the more tiring interviews ive ever had. i mean, it wasnt mean or anything like microsofts interview, or accenture... but it was tedious and i had to speak a lot, and i MEAN, a LOT! the first tech interview wasnt too bad, it wasnt as structured as behavioral interviews and the interview jumped around left and right, so it was very casual feeling .. but he DID ask me a lot of very interesting questions and probed my database and modelling skills ... i would only assume that if i got this job, he would be the team lead for the projects that i work on .. the position is for database analyst by the way, and not systems analyst like i originally thought ... but thats fine, its all and the same anyways and i can always move on out to systems analyst later on ...

the second interview was VERY structured and VERY behavioral. i had five questions to answer, each of which had a unique situation and at least five bullets to the question. it was fucking tiring, and it was a LOT of fast talking simply because it felt like i was running out of time or something, while answering. the interviewer looked like a younger version of christopher reeve. very cute. =) and i assume if i got the job, he would be my manager .. mwahahaha!

difficult to tell if i will get the job or not. in either case, i will know in two weeks if i am wanted or not. lets hope it will be good news.

another interview to prepare for on tuesday, transunion, here i come!
