the internet is an amazing tool to search for long lost friends ... take today for instance. a typical sunday morning in evanston, couldnt sleep in past 8am anymore in my old age, awaiting the five billion loads of unwashed laundry that i had to do for the two people that live in this apartment (including yours truly).. so what do i do to kill that free time in between loads of washing and drying? i browsed one of internet's brilliant ideas - the friendster..

cant remember how i ended up looking through people's 300+ friends on their list, but it must have been quite an attractive catch since i wasted about 3 hours of my day today, looking for people that i could barely place, even if the pictures are blatantly clear, and even more embarrassingly, names that could not be evoked, even with the help of an old friend on the phone! i must be getting quite old to not remember names - i used to be VERY good at that! but yeah, i found some old tuition friends (malaysian speak for extra curricular classes), some elementary school friends, and some high school friends. what is pretty fucking scary is that i remember my old elementary school friends more so than i do the high school ones.... isnt that awful! maybe the older friends had more impact (but how is that possible - i was so young!)

anyway, hopefully some of them will respond back to the inquiries that i posted.

most of them are married - and most of them are pregnant/with kids.

my time will come.. ;)
